About QR Barcode Studio

QR Barcode Studio is a free online tool for making and reading QR codes and barcodes. You can create QR codes for websites, Wi-Fi, contact cards and more, generate over 30 barcode and 2D code types, scan codes with your camera, and check barcode numbers, all in your web browser.

How we build it

• Codes that keep working. Our codes are static: the content is stored in the code itself, so a printed code keeps working whether or not you ever pay us.
• Scan-tested before download. Every QR design is checked by a built-in scanner, so colors or a logo do not quietly break it.
• Your data stays with you. The content you encode, the logos you upload and the images you scan are processed in your browser and are not sent to our servers.
• Accurate, not invented. Barcode tools follow the published GS1 and ISO rules. We do not sell barcode numbers and we are not a GS1 member organisation; for registered product numbers, go to your local GS1 office.

What it costs

Black QR codes and barcodes, the scanners and the check digit calculator are free. Paid plans add your logo, brand colors, shapes, vector files and higher download limits. Free pages show advertising, which pays for the free tools.
